Week 4 so far,...
I have absolutely loved doing this week in vis com. It has been amazing!!!! I really struggled top get the hang of the assignment at first. I sat there all Sunday thinking what an earth am i going to do?!?!?!? I decided to figure everything out by whilst watching a film that we had been assigned. I had never seen the sixth sense before and decided to start watching it at 2am monday morning,...what a bad idea that was!!!!! I did however get some inspiration when i figured out from the movie exactly what it was that they were asking me to do. My message reads who are you really and the sender is my shadow and the receiver is me. Here is a few image that I have come up with so far, hopefully it will come together before friday when i have to present it,...
week 3 VIS COM!
This was such a mixed week it is ridiculous!
I felt really confident about my first day and seemed to be really enjoying it and then I could not get my head aeound the second project. I spent hours and hours trying to do it but couldnt just let go and be free with my work. I think this week is an over tired and over worked kind of week. I found it artistically difficult but enjoyed it all the same! here is some of the work I did on my comic book thing but let me tell you I stuggeled to get this far with it! I also feel that it quite aptly describes exactly how my head is feeling at this moment SCRAMBED!!!!

week 2
sorry i havent been blogging recently trying to use my artistic journal more so everything has kind of gone in there. Time flys so fast here and I wish that each of the rotations was longer but at least they are a good taster session for what I am going to do after the rotations. This week in fine art was very stressful. The final day came around all too soon and to create such a final or more of a progressional final piece in such a short amount of time was very difficult. Altogether though I feel that I started to get my message across about the ambiguous nature of different cultures within our society. I do however wish that I had been given more time to work on this as it was really falling apart by the end.

Week 1-CONFUSION!

The Psycho who lived next door ruined my first day!
Ok well most people have heard this story already as it was my excuse for being so tired on my first day at Chelsea but I thought I would write it down anyway so that I personally wouldn't forget. And also so I can look back on this at the end of my year here and laugh. Whilst living at University you are supposed to be opened up to a vast number of different and new experiences,...or at least that is what I was told. However, this one is something that I never wish to repeat. At around 11pm the night before I was due to start at Chelsea I was rudely awoken from my sleep by a rather unexpected sound. This sound was coming through my wall from next door by my neighbor and her rather unusual boyfriend (who was shortly after this event named the psycho's punk rock bin man lover). To cut a long story short this sound carried on along with a variety of loud drumm and base music followed by Lady Gaga's ALEJANDRO!!! (I mean come on who choses to do it to that song but let me tell you I had it in my head for at least 2 days after!) until around 5am at which point out of sheer necessity I must have nodded off. I promptly was woken up from then on at half hourly intervals to the sound of my chair which was residing along the partition wall that separated the rooms, very rapidly banging against it as the wall moved. The next day I started my course. Exhausted I sat for the day drawing from the 3D still life structures that were in front of my asking myself over and over again.."why have I come to London if I am going to be sat all day too exhausted to do my work after being kept awake all night?!?!?!" At which point David Bachelor came over and said to me that I looked like I was falling asleep and was I really not enjoying it or something,..I didn't have the heart to tell him what had happened the night before seen as we had never even met before lol! Upon getting home arguments broke out with this girl who was subsequently ignored by everyone after I had found out that I was not the only one who had a disturbed nights sleep. All in all it was a very eventful first day but mainly I just remember being extremely tired and very unenthusiastic about everything- what a bummer!!!!
A transformation of sorts

Cedars Hall...GREAT!!!!
Ok well this seems to be the most relevant place to start my blog seen as it was my first experience of London life. Moving in to Cedars Hall was like being given a 2 week vacation in Strangeways PRISON! Its a small 1950's building with well a sort of depressed sunken feeling that hangs over it. My welcome to this place was the smell of stale urine that elapsed out of my wardrobe when attempting to hang up my clothes. To be honest words dont do this place justice i think a picture in this case would most definitely say 1000 words,...
