I was talking to a guy in my class at Chelsea after class today about my knitwear project and he pointed me in the direction of a lady called Sandra Backlund
. She is an ex MA student from Central St Martins and her work is amazing. She has become my absolute knitwear idol!!!!! Most of her stuff is handmade however she is working on a line now for consumers as she has only ever done made to measure one off pieces before. I have had a look through some of her stuff for consumers but I dont think it in any way it captures the amazing quality of her hand done work,...just see for yourself!!!!!
